Mr. Naba Kumar Das has been associated with IBMR Group of Institution, Gurgaon since 2022 and brings with him an extraordinary wealth of 35 years of industry experience from Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Gurgaon.

He is currently pursuing a PhD in Management (Research focus: Kaizen Digitization) from The NorthCap University, Gurgaon. He holds a Master of Business Administration in Operations and HR from Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, New Delhi, an MBA in Executive Program in Business Management from IIM Calcutta, an MBA in Operations Management from SCDL Pune, and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Institution of Engineers (India), Calcutta. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Training and Development from the Indian Society of Training and Development (ISTD), New Delhi.

His research focus revolves around Operations Management, Kaizen Digitization, Digital Transformation in the Automotive Sector, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Supply Chain Management, and Continuous Improvement Practices.

At IBMR Group of Institution, he teaches subjects aligned with his academic and industry expertise, including Operations Management, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Entrepreneurship, Total Quality Management, and Mathematical Models and Data Analysis.

His expertise lies in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Production and Process Engineering, New Product Development, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and data driven decision making, along with proficiency in advanced tools and methodologies related to operational excellence and process optimization.

His teaching methodologies revolve around classroom discussion, industry issues and ways to solve it and with  storytelling approach, enriched by decades of real world industry experience that brings unparalleled depth and context to every classroom interaction.

He is also keen on developing new skills and giving back to society. He has presented five original research papers at national and international conferences, including the 39th Indian Engineering Congress, and has published a peer reviewed article on Artificial Intelligence and Continuous Improvement in the IEI Technical Journal. He holds a Lean Manufacturing Certification from Toyota Motor Corporation and is an alumnus of IIM Calcutta, an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (India), and a Life Member of the Indian Society of Training and Development.
