Dr. Preeti Chawla has more than 15+ years of academic experience.

She holds a PhD in Management from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Kurukshetra, and a Master’s in Business Administration (Finance & HR) from Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, along with an M.Com from Kurukshetra University. She is also UGC-NET certified in both Management and Commerce.

Her research focus revolves around Finance, Digital Financial Literacy, Mutual Funds and Capital Markets, Behavioral Biases in Investment, Mobile Wallet and UPI Adoption, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Quantitative Research.

Her expertise lies in subjects like Mutual Funds, FinTech, Financial Literacy, Corporate Finance, Financial Statement Analysis, and Financial Modeling, along with proficiency in tools such as Excel-based Financial Statement Analysis and Financial Modeling software.

Her teaching methodologies revolve around classroom discussion, case-based teaching, use of relevant and emerging technologies in the classroom, practical-based learning, and a storytelling approach reflected through her MOOC course development on platforms like SWAYAM and her 30-hour Certificate Course on Financial Literacy and Investment Proficiency for students.

She is also keen on developing new skills and giving back to society. She has published 31 research papers, of which 26 appear in Scopus, WOS, ABDC, UGC CARE, and Google Scholar indexed journals, along with 4 books, 17 book chapters, and blogs on reputable platforms including Times Hi Society India News and The NorthCap University. She has been recognised with the Best Faculty Award in 2022 and the Guru Vishistha Award in 2023.
