MBA students undertook an insightful industrial visit to Caparo’s advanced manufacturing units located in Bawal and Greater Noida. The visit aimed to provide practical exposure to real-time industrial operations and strategic management in the automotive sector.
At both plants, students were briefed on Caparo’s business model, its collaboration with leading automobile manufacturers such as Maruti, and its role in the auto-component supply chain. Detailed sessions covered topics like manufacturing processes, quality control, operational strategies, and the application of robotics in automobile frame production.
The visit also included in-depth discussions on competitive positioning, pricing strategies, and technology adoption in manufacturing. Students actively participated in Q&A sessions and open-floor interactions with industry experts, gaining valuable insights into the practical application of management principles.
