Industrial Visit at NSIC

On 09/09/2024, the PGDM students of IBMR embarked on an enlightening industrial visit to the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), a premier organization promoting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in India.

The visit aimed to provide students with insights into the functioning of NSIC, its role in supporting SMEs, and the opportunities available for entrepreneurs. The visit enabled them to gain an overview of NSIC’s schemes and services for SMEs, contributing to their understanding of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in India. It also helped students develop insights into the challenges and opportunities in the SME sector while networking with NSIC officials and entrepreneurs.

The visit included an interactive session with NSIC officials discussing various schemes and initiatives, a tour of the NSIC exhibition center showcasing innovative products from SMEs, and a Q&A session with entrepreneurs and industry experts. The visit to NSIC was an eye-opener for the students, providing valuable insights into the SME sector.

Organizations like NSIC play a vital role in fostering entrepreneurship and innovation. This visit has inspired our students to explore opportunities in the SME sector and contribute to India’s economic growth. The visit will continue for 21 days, allowing students to further immerse themselves in the SME ecosystem.
