Strategic Management Gamification & Simulation – Bridging Classroom Learning with Corporate Reality
At IBMR Business School, learning goes beyond textbooks and traditional classrooms. Our PG students recently participated in an immersive Strategic Management Gamification & Business Simulation Exercise conducted by the esteemed IBMR faculty team led by Mr Ayush Rathore, designed to replicate the dynamic challenges of the corporate world.
Through a virtual company environment, students stepped into the shoes of business leaders and decision-makers, experiencing firsthand the complexities of managing an organization in a highly competitive market. From handling operations, finance, marketing, production, innovation, and research allocation, participants were challenged to make strategic decisions under pressure while balancing growth, profitability, and sustainability.
The simulation enabled students to:
Develop strategic thinking and analytical decision-making skills
Understand interdepartmental coordination in a corporate ecosystem
Experience the impact of market uncertainty and operational chaos
Enhance leadership, teamwork, and crisis management abilities
Re-capsulize and apply classroom concepts into real-time business scenarios
The activity was not just a game it was a transformative learning experience that encouraged students to think like entrepreneurs, managers, and corporate strategists. By blending gamification with experiential learning, IBMR continues to nurture industry-ready professionals capable of navigating the ever-evolving business landscape.
“Management is not about knowing the answers; it is about making decisions when the answers are uncertain.”
At IBMR, we believe the future of management education lies in experiential learning, innovation, and strategic exposure that prepares students for the realities of the corporate world..
